American Airlines' Smooth System Conversion
Those of us who have been through a system conversion (probably most readers on this site) realize how fraught with danger they can be. American Airlines invested 1.3 million hours in their recent conversion, and according to Bob Ferrarri on the Supply Chain Matters site, it went smoothly.
Additional work is planned to move some of the system to the cloud, but so far so good. Check out his review of their project HERE.
