Major supply chain disruptions over the past couple years, weather-related and otherwise, have caused some companies to put extra effort into mapping their supply networks.
It's a massive undertaking, especially when the supply chain is long and complicated and all partners can't fully participate. Dan Gilmore in Supply Chain Digest provides some great examples in his article HERE.
