As the cost of internet of things sensors declines more businesses will use them in their supply chain operations, reports Supply Chain Dive. 

Forrester Research released a report last year predicting two areas — track-and-trace and inventory and supply chain management — would experience the largest spending growth on IoT between 2017 and 2023.
