According to TechCrunch, UPS has announced it is joining the Blockchain in Transport Alliance. The alliance wants to develop blockchain technology standards for the freight industry.

Unilever is teaming up with several partners to bring blockchain to its tea supply, reports GreenBiz. Unilever’s consortium will monitor tea coming out of Malawi to ensure it meets several criteria.

Pilot Freight Services (Pilot), a worldwide provider of transportation and logistics services, announces the opening of a 65,000 sq. ft. multi-client warehouse located at 270 Old New Brunswick Road in Piscataway, NJ. This new venture is Pilot’s largest multi-client operation at opening and their first in the Northeast. It will serve to help Pilot’s network of Northeast clients meet the needs of their customers quickly and with flexibility.
