Electronics Supply Chain Slows Down

Slowed by the global pandemic the electronics supply chain is now facing slow downs due to a trade war, reports Supply Chain Dive. 

This year has been an uphill battle for the electronics sector. A March McKinsey study cautioned that electronics companies could stock out by April due to coronavirus-driven factory shutdowns in China and extended lead times.

Apple Reduces Supply Chain Carbon Footprint

According to Supply Chain, Apple will reach net-zero in its supply chain earlier than the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change has mandated.

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has set targets for the corporations of the world, and Apple’s new carbon footprint goals will have the company reaching net-zero in its supply chain 20 years earlier than the IPCC targets.
